The Trace spoke with 13 experts on policy, politics, and the science of gun violence to discuss predictions for the coming year.
The Violence Project’s co-founders Jill Peterson and James Densley told reporters that they are hopeful that this year Americans come together to prevent gun violence, urging, “let 2020 be the year that mass violence prevention, not reaction, goes mainstream.”
